Story of our New Land and Building

 

We began worship in the cafeteria of White Oak Elementary School, complete with orange plastic chairs, a noisy ice cream machine and a friendly large cockroach who kept everyone looking up during a sermon. After three years we leased and fully renovated the commercial space we presently call home. In 2006 a building and land team was organized with the goal of securing land and designing a building. In 2007 we purchased land on Shenandoah Blvd, and a site plan was presented to the congregation early in 2008. We are presently in the "permitting process" and hope to have a building built with the next two years.
