When we consider the grace of God in Christ Jesus toward sinners, we should be moved to seek opportunities to show those who also need mercy that God is a God of mercy.
Justice is a bit more difficult. We who have received mercy must also seek to defend those who are seeking a good and just outcome to their difficulties.
Justice and mercy toward the downtrodden, the poor, the widow, orphan and stranger is a biblical command.
We believe that the gospel calls us to go out not just in bringing people the message of salvation but also the message of restoration and healing in this life as well as the one to come.
"Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
